Anti-Aging Antioxidant Smoothie
Free radicals damage your skin, your organs, and beat down your immune system. The antioxidants in the veggies in this smoothie are known for their ability to kill free radicals that trigger cancer, wrinkles, and other skin problems, mental problems connected with aging that we call “senior moments” and other age-related health issues. You should take 3 to 4 cups of this smoothie daily.
Tweaks: If you like sweets, add a half of an orange or a whole green apple. Just keep in mind to add water also, to get the desired texture. Using veggies that are very fresh will result in more nutrients.
- 1/2 cup arugula
- 1/2 cup asparagus
- 1/2 cup broccoli
- 1/2 cup spinach
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 cups chamomile tea
- Place 1 cup of chamomile tea in your blender, add some arugula, garlic, and spinach. And blend well.
- Add your second cup of chamomile tea. Blend, gradually adding broccoli and asparagus.
- Blend well. Depending on the quality of your veggies, you may have to add a little purified, filtered water.
